Ritz-Carlton Names New Management In Shenzhen
The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen has hired new executives as it plans its opening in early autumn 2008.
Iwan Dietschi is the new general manager. A Swiss national and seasoned hotelier, Dietschi moved to Shenzhen from Hong Kong where he was the hotel manager of the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. During his 13-years with The Ritz-Carlton, Dietschi has held various management positions around the world, including in the rooms and food and beverage divisions, and he was also part of the hotel task force opening teams in San Juan, Berlin, Wolfsburg, Doha, Jakarta, Beijing and Guangzhou.
The hotel's new director of sales and marketing is Lucinder Ng. With more than 15 years' hotel experience in several deluxe hotel chains including Hyatt, Peninsula and Shangri-la, Ng was recently transferred from the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong in the same capacity and is the certified Ritz-Carlton trainer in the field of sales and marketing. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton, she has enjoyed a long career at The Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Ng was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Bangkok and holds a Masters Degree of Business Administration in Strategic Management from California State University, as well as a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration in Travel Management Industry from University of Hawaii at Manoa.
