Gao Takes President Post At HNA

Tim Gao has been appointed president of HNA International Hotels & Resorts Management Company.

Gao started his career in hotel industry in 1989, and has worked at Shangri-La, Sheraton, Holiday Inn and Meritus hotel groups. Before joining in HNA Hotels & Resorts, he was the vice president of the Gloria International Hotels Management; CEO of the Orient Hotels Management Company; and CEO and managing director of Beijing TEDA Hotels Management Company.

Concurrently, he also serves as a visiting professor with the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management at Purdue University in the United States, School of Tourism Management of BISU, and the School of Travel and Tourism Management at Tianjin Commerce University. He has been consecutively elected as the vice president of the China Hotel Association since 2001.
