Guangzhou's Panyu District will welcome three new five-star standard hotel projects in Zhongcun, Nancun, and Shiqiao.
According to local media, one hotel that is to be built in Hanxi, Zhongcun covers an area of 31,000 square meters and is located in the business area within 500 meters from a subway station, and with convenient access to the new Guangzhou Bus Station. One in Nancun covers an area of 137,000 square meters and is located at the east side of Yinbin Road, the urban express way. Another in Shiqiao with an area of 50,373-square-meters is located in the central business and trade district of Shiqiao, also close to a subway station.
Besides the three hotels in the pipeline, a five-star standard hotel and conference center, which covers about 120 mu of area, is under construction in Panyu District. It is scheduled to open before the 2010 Asian Games.
At present in Panyu there are 15 hotels at above the three-star level and only one five-star hotel.
