The Hotel Equatorial Qingdao has been re-branded to Copthorne Hotel Qingdao and has now joined the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels.
This is the first Copthorne-branded hotel in China, and the hotel lobby and public areas inclusive of all restaurants, function rooms and ballroom were renovated in early 2008. The hotel features 455 well-appointed guestrooms inclusive of 38 club rooms and 17 suites, which were completely renovated in early 2007.
All essential facilities for the modern day travelers are available at the hotel such as high speed broadband Internet connections, a business center with secretarial services and a modern health club with an indoor swimming pool. The hotel also extends complimentary car parking for all its guests.
London-listed, M&C Hotels plc is a 53% subsidiary of City Developments Limited and part of the Hong Leong Group Singapore. It operates in major gateway and key cities in 18 countries with a portfolio of more than 110 three-, four- and five-star hotels worldwide.
