Execs Take Positions At Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall
Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall has named two new executives for its top posts.
Rauf Malik has been appointed general manager of the hotel. Having been in hospitality industry for nearly thirty years, with sixteen years are under the flag of Marriott International, Inc., Malik is truly an international hotelier. In Asia, he has commanded, in succession, the Renaissance Hotels Hong Kong, China Hotel Guangzhou by Marriott and Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel. Malik has also worked in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
The new director of marketing at the hotel is Richard Beh. He has proven records in the leadership role in Renaissance Melaka and first moved to China as the pre-opening director of marketing for Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park in 2007. Since then, he has also assumed the role as project leader for Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel and cluster leader for airline crew business for the Shanghai Cluster of hotels for Marriott.
