FuramaXpress Hotel Opens In Shanghai

The FuramaXpress Hotel Lujiazui, Shanghai has been formally opened in Pudong, Shanghai.

This is the first outlet under the brand of FuramaXpress to be opened in Shanghai. It is located at the intersection of South Pudong Road and West Weifang Road, Lujiazui, close to the Bund, People's Square, and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It is about 20 minutes drive from the New Shanghai International Expo Centre, and 30 minutes from Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The hotel has 183 rooms, food and beverage facilities, as well as an entertainment area. All rooms are equipped with LCD TV, free broadband Internet access, and a double-head shower system. Amenities also include free Internet in the lobby, conference service, laundry service baby sitter service, 24-hour security, airport transfers, and IDD & DDD phone calls.

FuramaXpress Hotel is a business hotel chain brand, owned by FX Hotel Group. The group's second Xujiahui outlet is scheduled to open soon.

FX Hotel Group is invested in by China Capital Management Group and managed by Furama Hotels International. The group aims to open 100 to 120 outlets around China over next three years, mainly focusing on first- and second-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. In Beijing, it has opened FuramaXpress Hotel Yansha, Beijing; FuramaXpress Hotel Beijing Airport, Beijing; and FuramaXpress Hotel Zhongguancun, Beijing.
