United Airlines Unveils New Luxury Seats In Hong Kong

United's international premium cabins make their Asian debut at the International Travel Expo, featuring the first 180-degree, lie-flat business class seat to be offered by a U.S. airline.

United Airlines' new United First and United Business suites went on display for the first time ever in Asia at the 22nd International Travel Expo in Hong Kong. The new suites will provide customers with the optimal privacy, comfort and working space during long international flights. United has the distinction of being the first U.S. carrier to offer 180-degree, fully flat beds in First and Business Class.

"Our new First and Business Class cabins reflect United's investment and commitment to delivering a rewarding and relaxing experience to our most valued customers," says Mark F. Schwab, vice president for the Pacific at United Airlines. "Combined with our other premium product upgrade, like the newly renovated Red Carpet Club at the Hong Kong International Airport, we are taking a holistic approach that aims to improve the overall customer experience in our new First and Business Class suites."

The international United Business suite will feature a new seat that reclines to a 180-degree, 6-foot, 4-inch lie-flat bed and is designed to provide customers' ultimate comfort, with more features, space and personalization options during their international travel.
