Home Inns has signed with the Huizhou Branch and Nanjing Branch of Kunming Investment Promotion Bureau for adding 15 outlets in Kunming.
Li Xiaojun, director of Development Department of Home Inns, said that the company plans to invest in CNY130 million to add 15 outlets in Kunming. Home Inns currently has had three directly run hotels in Kunming that have been renovated and rebuilt. Of these two that are located on Dongfeng Square and on Baita Road are scheduled to open soon, and another one on the Qingnian Road is in the pipeline. All 15 outlets planned are expected to be established by the end of 2009.
At present, Home Inns has more than 600 chain hotels with a total of more than 20,000 guestrooms in 95 flourishing cities around China, and an average occupancy of more than 90% throughout the year.
