Beijing, China (October 16, 2008) /China Newswire/ — On the 11th of October, 2008, Care for Children had its second English Village Fete at the centre. It turned out to be a great day for all the families involved, with a barbeque, fish & chips, bouncy castle, shadow puppet show and lots of side stalls and entertainment all on offer.
The event is supported by Dulwich College, Shangri-la hotels & resorts and Northern Trust etc. The supporters and Care for Children share the responsibilities to the local communities. The yearly event organized by Care for Children aims to bring familiarity to local Beijing people as well as create a Fun Day for the local children.
After a decade of working to improve the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children across China, the Fete enables Care for Children's work to develop further in new and exciting ways, providing assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of Chinese society.
