Due to the 7th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition held from November 4 through November 9 in Zhuhai, the rates of hotels in Zhuhai increased by about 50%.
According to local media, the size of Airshow China 2008 was much bigger than ever before even though the first three days of the exhibition was only open to professionals.
During the period of from November 4 through November 9, Zhuhai hotels increased their rates by about 50%, similar to the rates for the Golden Week holidays. For example, the three-star Jinwan Hotel increased its rate to CNY180 per room, compared to CNY120 per room for ordinary days.
