Air Pacific To Open Nonstop Route To Hong Kong

Fiji's international airline Air Pacific has announced that it will terminate the service from Fiji's tour destination Nadi to Tokyo in the first quarter of 2009, and will launch a nonstop route from Nadi to Hong Kong instead.

Patrick Wong, director of the Fiji Visitors Bureau, said that this is to meet the development requirements of the Fiji tourism market, and it is also helpful for focusing on the Chinese, Indian, UK, European, and Russian markets.

It is reported that new nonstop route to Hong Kong is scheduled to be launched in June 2009 with two flights a week.
