Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel Appoints New Top Management

The top management of the Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel has been strengthened by the appointment of two new executives to lead its management team.

General manager Juergen Sterkau hails from Germany and has been with the Marriott International group for 20 years. He has 24 years of experience working in hotels around the world: in Germany, Switzerland, Poland and the Americas as well as Asia. Prior to this post he was in Beijing, opening the 1,300 room Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall.

Oliver Li Hao Yu took on the position of director of marketing at the Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel early this year. His hotel career spans 14 years of work in some of the city's foremost deluxe properties, such as Grand Hyatt and Sofitel. After graduating from the Shanghai Foreign Language University, Li earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Leadership at Baker College in Michigan, USA.
