This kind of event has been held in Malaysia by MGTO from 2004. At present, there are a total of 28 nonstop flights a week between Macau and Kuala Lumpur, this brings a considerable number of inbound tourists to Macau. Last year, Macau welcomed more than 98,000 tourists from Malaysia, a sharp increase of 103% compared to 2004. For the first ten months of this year, the growth rate in the number of inbound tourists from Malaysia to Macau exceeded 102%. With more large tourism projects being completed, together with the brand effect of Macau's world heritage, Macau will strive to become one of the major cultural destinations in Asia.
