China Signs MOU On Tourism Cooperation With Lebanon
The China National Tourism Administration and the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism have signed a memorandum of understanding on China sending tour groups to Lebanon.
The MOU was signed by Liu Zhiming, the Chinese ambassador to Lebanon, and Elie Marouni, the Lebanese tourism minister.
According to the MOU, Chinese citizens can organize tour groups to Lebanon through travel agencies approved by the for outbound tour operation, to visit Lebanon; while Lebanese departments will designate or recommend local travel agencies which operate legally and met the necessary standards to receive Chinese tour groups traveling to Lebanon.
The MOU also says that both China and Lebanon should protect the legal rights and interests of the Chinese tourists traveling to Lebanon according to their own national laws, and the Embassy of Lebanon in China are required to offer convenient visa application services for Chinese tour groups.
