CITIC2009 To Be Held In Beijing

On January 8-9, 2009, the 2009 China Inbound Tourism Industry Conference and the second China E-commerce Summit on the China Inbound Tourism Sector will be held in Beijing.

Attendees to CITIC2009 are expected to include 1,000-1,200 delegates including representatives of tourism authorities, industry researchers, media, tourist destinations, online portals, tour operators, and hotels will attend to hold seminars focusing on the post-Olympics travel business, inbound tourist product strategy, e-commerce and online marketing strategy, MICE business etc.

During the event, market survey reports on post-Olympic tourism and China e-commerce on inbound tourism sector will be released by specially invited research authorities and experts.

In the afteroon on January 8 2009, some China travel destinations administrations will introduce operators' delegates to make presentation on their tourist resources and products. Zhangjiajie Landscape, Hakka Earth Buildings, and Suzhou Tourism Administration are expected to attend and promote their destinations.

A cocktail party will be organized in the evening of January 8, 2009, so that industry peers can make friends and expand their business network in a relaxed way.

CITIC2009 will organize a special match-making meeting on the afternoon of Janary 9, 2009, offering a face-to-face platform for organizing tour operators and ground tour operators; travel agents; and industry suppliers like hotels, airlines, and car rental companies to get together and collaborate.
