New General Manager Appointed For Le Meridien She Shan Shanghai

Maged Louis has been appointed general manager of Le Meridien She Shan Shanghai.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Louis started his hospitality career in London, United Kingdom in 1988. He joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts two years later, serving in major Middle Eastern and Asian destinations including Cairo, EI-Gouna, Dubai, and Bangkok. From 1998 to 2000, he was a member of the Starwood Revenue Management Committee for Africa, India, and the Middle East.

Most recently, he was director of rooms in the Cairo Sheraton, a member of the opening team of Sheraton Miramar Resort EI-Gouna and Sheraton Urumqi, and he was general manager of the Sheraton Urumqi. Louis holds a degree in engineering, accounting and management from Cairo University in Egypt.
