Criteria For Chinese Hotel Management Companies To Be Published

Criteria for Chinese hotel management companies operations are expected to be published and put into trial use soon.

Drafted by experts organized by China Tourism Hotel Association, the criteria aim to regulate hotel management companies' operation; protect the interests of hotel proprietors, hotel management companies, and hotel employees; and guide the healthy development of hotel management companies.

Based on an extensive study and survey, the experts concerned have carefully drawn on the successful experience of Chinese hotel management companies and by referring to the practice of international hotel groups they have drawn up the first draft of the criteria.

Based on this work, CTHA held many meetings to solicit opinions on the draft and, after a year of amendment and revision, the criterion are now ready to be published.
