Korean Air To Strengthen Transfer Service In China's Major Cities
Korean Air has formally launched an initiative to expand in China's major and second-tier cities.
A representative from Korean Air stated that Korean Air would continue its efforts in Chinese market and actively expand and invest in China's major cities in 2009 regardless of the current global depression in the aviation industry.
In addition, Korean Air will further improve its flight schedule to provide more convenience for Chinese passengers who need to transfer on their trip.
In 2009, Korean Air will continue its localization strategy in the Chinese market. The company says further expansion of west China and second-tier Chinese cities will be one of the most important steps for it to realize its goals of increasing the number of flights for tour groups flying from China to South Korea, Japan and the Americas as well as flights for the individual tourists flying to the United States.
