Jiangxi To Encourage Subsidized Incentive Travel

China's Jiangxi province is preparing a three-year plan on leisure travel in which it encourages companies to offer subsidized travel and incentive travel to their employees.

According to the plan, in the next three years, Jiangxi will strengthen on the concept of taking holidays as prescribed by law and ask concerned government bodies and large state-owned enterprises to take the lead in implementing paid annual holidays and participating in travel around Jiangxi by Jiangxi residents.

In addition, Jiangxi will support scenic spots issuing annual tickets, quarterly tickets, monthly tickets or joint travel tickets to increase the number of tourists, and it will urge companies and social groups to purchase these scenic spots' annual tickets or joint tickets for their employees with their welfare funds or trade union budgets.
