CITS Enters Cooperation Agreement With Hainan Tourism Bureau
China International Travel Service has signed a cooperation agreement with Hainan Provincial Tourism Bureau and the two sides will combine their resources to market Hainan's tourism offerings and attract high-end tourists for the region.
It is learned that the two sides will set up a joint-chair meeting system and carry out promotions in both Chinese and foreign markets. Lu Zhiyuan, director of HPTB, spoke highly of the cooperation and he believed that the unique tourism resources of Hainan, when combined with CITS's large customer base and extraordinary sales network, will be a win-win situation for both parties and will be of great significance to developing Hainan's tourism market.
In addition, according to Gai Zhixin, president of CITS, China Duty-free Group, an affiliate of CITS, is working to create Hainan into an international tourism island and actively initiating an international duty-free city program with the province.
