Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Huanghe Opens

Sofitel has announced the opening of its 23rd property in China: Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Huanghe.

The resort-style hotel is located in Sheshan National Tourism Resort, a 35-minutes drive from Shanghai's city center and surrounded by lush gardens and blue lagoons.

Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Huanghe is a meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions resort with 12 reception rooms and a grand ballroom that can host up to 900 guests seated in banquet style.

Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Huanghe has 368 rooms including 53 Luxury Suites and an Imperial Suite. There are also seven luxury villas specially designed for international and local government officials as well as business delegations.

The rooms and suites, all with private balconies, feature the exclusive MyBed concept, an all feather bed and extra light down duvet combined with a pillow menu, L'Occitane and Hermes room amenities, and free broadband Internet access. Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Huanghe has a diverse range of restaurants including all day dining and Mediterranean, Japanese, and Korean cuisines.

The hotel has 12 multi-function rooms totalling 2,100 square meters, all located in a custom, built conference centre. The 1,200 square meter pillar-less grand ballroom can be divided into three parts, each of which can be configured according to clients' requirements. All meeting rooms are fully equipped with the latest technology.

The hotel's spa, So Sp,a blends its natural surroundings into its 15 treatment rooms, where guests can enjoy a selection of signature treatments and French cosmetology.

Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Huanghe offers a wide variety of leisure activities including the Sofit Health Club, 3,400 square meters of and indoor swimming pools, tennis and squash courts, an indoor golf driving range, an outdoor mini golf course, and a night club.
