Two Executives Join New Crowne Plaza Shenyang Parkview

Two top executives have been appointed to the Crowne Plaza Shenyang Parkview, which is scheduled to open later this year.

Gilberto Mayen has been appointed as general manager of the Crowne Plaza Shenyang Parkview. He has over 26 years extensive experience in the hospitality Industry. He started his career in 1983 and has worked at InterContinental hotels for many years holding various senior management positions in Mexico and Honduras. Previously, he was the general manager of InterContinental Hotel San Pedro Sula, Honduras, from 2002 to 2005. After that, he studied at ESSEC Business School in Paris and has received an MBA degree in International Hospitality Management. This is his first post in China. Prior to joining Crowne Plaza Shenyang Parkview, he worked with the Meritus Mandarin Singapore as the executive assistant manager.

Linda Zhang has been appointed as director of sales and marketing of Crowne Plaza Shenyang Parkview. With 12 years experience in the hospitality industry, Zhang has extensive sales and marketing knowledge of the hospitality industry. Prior to joining IHG, she worked as DOSM with Marriott Hotels International, Tianlun International, and New World Hotel management group.
