China UnionPay National Travel & Leisure Card Launched In Guangdong

China UnionPay's national travel & leisure standard card, China's first national travel-theme bank card, has been launched in Guangdong.

The card is issued jointly by China UnionPay, Guangdong Provincial Tourism Administration, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Everbright Bank, and Industrial Bank. Cardholders can enjoy discounts and high-quality service in certain dining, lodging, traffic, travel, shopping, and entertainment businesses. The ICBC credit card also has a chip in it which can be used to buy tickets when visiting some scenic spots in Guangdong.

Guangdong residents, people with temporary residence permits, and tourists in Guangdong can all apply for the card.
