Amalan New GM For Sheraton Dongguan Hotel

Starwood has appointed San Amalan as the general manager of the 500-room Sheraton Dongguan Hotel.

Amalan is a veteran hotelier who has worked more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, with a diverse career in the Starwood group and with InterContinental Hotels. He has worked in seven countries and this is his second post in China, his previous post in China being with the Great Wall Sheraton, Beijing. Prior to joining Sheraton Dongguan, he was the pre-opening general manager of the Westin New Delhi and the Westin Sohna Resort in Gurgaon, New Delhi.
