New Area General Manager For Banyan Tree Hangzhou

Reinhold Johann has been appointed as the area general manager of Banyan Tree Hangzhou and Angsana Hangzhou.

In his new role as general manager of Banyan Tree Hangzhou, Johann will be responsible for both resorts, with Banyan Tree Hangzhou slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2009 and Angsana Hangzhou in 2011. He first joined Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts in October 2007 as the general manager of Banyan Tree Seychelles. Prior to that posting, he served as general manager in several prestigious properties in the Middle East, most notably the Movenpick Hotel Sana'a in Yemen. His 30-year career has taken him from Eastern Europe to exotic locations in North Africa, Kenya, the Middle East, and Fiji.
