Shenzhen Airlines Issues Annual Ticket For Taiwan Businessman

Following the lead of China Southern and Air China, Shenzhen Airlines has set up a Taiwan branch in Taipei.

At the inaugural ceremony, Shenzhen Airlines announced that it would launch a "preferential annual business ticket" program. The annual ticket is especially for members of the Taiwan Merchants Association of Shenzhen for Shenzhen-Taipei roundtrip flights. The ticket will cost just CNY17,700 for all flights for a whole year. Shenzhen reportedly has over 300,000 Taiwan businessmen: the most in mainland China.

Shenzhen Airlines will operate seven regular flights from August 31, 2009: from Shenzhen, Zhengzhou and Shenyang to Taiwan. Each week there will be five flights between Shenzhen and Taipei.
