ANEARG Establishes Tourism Sub-committee

A sub-committee of The Association of North East Asia Regional Governments has been set up in Zhengzhou, Henan province.

Henan has been elected the first coordinator of the xub-committee, which will build a communication platform for tourism information, set up a tourism development exchange information database, and organize various tourism-related events to develop tourism in Henan and the whole of Northeast Asia.

The Association of North East Asia Regional Governments was founded in 1996 under the auspices of 29 local governments from China, Japan, South Korea, and Russia. It has nine specialist subcommittees covering sectors of tourism, the economy, the environment, and marine fishery.
