U.S. Ambassador At InterContinental Century City Chengdu

Jon M. Huntsman Jr., the new U.S. ambassador to China, recently visited Chengdu. Other than Beijing, this was the first city in China that he had visited. During his visit to Chengdu, he attended a ceremony to mark the donation made to Sichuan by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency Donating. He paid a visit to the Chengdu research base for breeding giant pandas. Ambassador Huntsman stayed at InterContinental Century City Chengdu and was welcomed by John Lim, the hotel manager.
