New GM And DOSM For Le Meridien Xiamen

David Katamopoulos has been appointed general manager of Le Meridien Xiamen Hotel, and he is joined by Eugene Hendriks, who has been appointed director of sales and marketing for the hotel.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Katemopoulos has held numerous senior management positions in prominent international hotels. Prior to joining the Le Meridien Xiamen Hotel he was the general manager of the St. Regis Macao. In 2001, he worked as a pre-opening team member for the St. Regis Shanghai Hotel and was later appointed as hotel manager before serving as general manager at Sheraton Haikou Hotel.

Hendriks has more than 20 years of hospitality experience in hotel operations as well as sales and marketing with international hotel brands. He has worked as director of sales and marketing in international brand hotels including Sheraton Shenyang Lido Hotel, Sheraton Dongguan Hotel, and Sheraton Penang Hotel, Malaysia.
