InterContinental Huizhou Resort Opens Its Doors

The 200-room InterContinental Huizhou Resort has opened in a green valley in Guangdong.

Spread across more than 200 acres, the 200-room InterContinental Huizhou Resort is within an area of boasting a large number of 400 year old natural 92 ℃ fluorine and radon hot springs.

InterContinental Huizhou's 200 Club rooms and spa studio are said to be larger than any other standard resort rooms. Enjoying Club InterContinental benefits, the club rooms and suites have a private terrace or balcony featuring views of the valley and a 24 hour dedicated butler service. All the spa studios have marble bathtubs on balconies overlooking the lake and the Spa Island as well as day beds for private treatment and massage.

Spread over the hills surrounding the valley are 20 villas, which range from 200 square meters to 400 square meters in area, are fully furnished with an array of Asian-stylish interiors, and boast a range of amenities including private swimming pools and hot spring pools.

Opening alongside the resort is the InterContinental Huizhou golf course: the first international branded course in Huizhou. Nine of the 18 holes are scattered around the Villas hills. and there up to four different tee-off stages per hole. Other facilities include a driving range and a top-branded pro-shop.

For children the resort boasts a large signature kid's club for its younger guests, Planet Trekkers, which covers over 400 square meters with indoor and outdoor club facilities that include a mini-garden, and a games court with basketball and climbing nets. Nursing and nanny services are available for the youngest guests.

The resort event center includes a ballroom and five meeting rooms, equipped to host a wide variety of events.
