Choi Appointed Director Of Marketing At Grand Hyatt Beijing

Charis Choi has been appointed director of marketing at Grand Hyatt Beijing at Oriental Plaza and area director of sales and marketing for north China.

A graduate of Queen's University in Canada, Choi holds a bachelor's degree in commerce, and started her sales and marketing career with Hyatt Regency Macau in June 1996. She was subsequently transferred to the divisional marketing center for Hyatt International and Grand Hyatt Beijing before being appointed director of convention services at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in June 2005 and she was subsequently promoted to director of marketing in June 2006, a position she held since then. In her new area role, Choi will look after the Hyatt hotels in northern China, including Beijing, Tianjin, and Xian.
