Urumqi-Dushanbe Route Returns To Normal

Starting from October 31, 2009, the Urumqi-Dushanbe round-trip flight operated by China Southern Airlines will cease to be a charter flight and will return to being a normal scheduled flight.

According to the Xinjiang branch of China Southern, the flight will be operated each Saturday from October 31, 2009 to March 27, 2010. The flight will leave Urumqi at 23:30 Beijing time, and arrive in Dushanbe, Tajikistan at 02:15 the next day.

The route was first launched in 2004 and has been operated as a charter flight for about five years. After it returns to being a normal flight, China Southern will adjust the price according to market demand.

By September 2009, China Southern's Xinjiang Branch had launched 12 international routes based in Urumqi, forming an international air route sales network covering Central Asia, West Asia, South Asia, central and western Asia, and countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
