Lhasa Cooperates With CITS A&D Company
Lhasa City Tourism Bureau has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China International Travel Service Advisory and Development Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITS.
Under the agreement, CITS A&D will set up stores in the Tibetan government's Beijing Office and 50 Tibetan theme stores across China, promoting Lhasa's tourist products. Lhasa Tourism Bureau will offer preferential policies to CITS A&D in the development of tourist routes, publicity and investment.
With a history of more than 1,300 years, Lhasa is not only the political, economic and cultural center of Tibet, but an important hub connecting southwest China with south Asian countries. Cooperation between Lhasa and CITS A&D will further foster the city's tourism market, and increase awareness of Lhasa.
