Regal Lands In Chengdu

The five-star Regal Master Hotel, Regal Hotels International's latest hotel and its first property in Chengdu, has had its soft opening.

"Regal has Landed in Chengdu," said general manager Anthony Mirza at the opening. He added that it signified a new era for comfort and style in Chengdu and a true home away from home for those who know and appreciate the best.

On the first day of opening the hotel welcomed the renowned River Dance Group as its first group guests checked into the newly built hotel.

The 350-room hotel is situated on South Renmin Road, with easy access to the main commercial, entertainment and shopping areas of Chengdu city through the public transport network and is only a 10-minute ride from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.

The Regal Master Hotel features six restaurants and bars providing a wide range of cuisine and entertainment. Regal Court combines Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine in a contemporary decor; Avanti Ristorante serves ltalian delicacies; Rivoli provides an East meets West a la carte menu showcasing an open kitchen; Tiffany Lounge offers comprehensive beverages along with live entertainment; Regala Cafe is open 24 hours a day; and the Pool Bar serves cocktails.

For conferences, meetings and banquets the hotel has nine function rooms of various sizes and a grand ballroom of 550 square meters that can accommodate up to 650 guests for a reception.

Recreational facilities include a 40-meter outdoor swimming pool with a sunbathing deck and a finess center featuring a well-equipped gymnasium, sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi.

In addition to the new hotel in Chengdu Regal Hotels International currently operates three hotels in Shanghai and six in Hong Kong. The Group has several projects under development including a scond hotel in Chengdu, the Regal Chengdu Hotel, and the Regal Kangbo Hotel in Dezhou.
