New GM And DOM For Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel

Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel, which is scheduled to open in May 2010, has announced the appointment of a new general manager and a new director of marketing.

Sammy Ng has been appointed as general manager of the new hotel. He has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked for a number of leading international hotel brands including Marriott, Regent, and New World Hotels, in Hong Kong and in mainland China. Prior to this new appointment he was the general manager of Renaissance Suzhou Hotel.

Adam Cheng has been appointed to the role as the director of marketing of Renaissance Shanghai Putuo. He has been with Marriott since May 2005 and started his career as an account manager at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong. He was then promoted to the post of opening director of sales for Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong in September 2007.
