Sofitel Inks Agreement For New Hotel In Hainan

Sofitel Luxury Hotels has signed a contract with Hainan Tiantuo Investment Exploit Company and Jinyi Real Estate Development Company to manage their latest hotel property, Sofitel Haikou, which is slated to open in early 2014.

The 398-room Sofitel Haikou will be located on Seaside Avenue, which is in the heart of Haikou’s busy financial district, and is considered as the financial hub of Hainan Island. The hotel will be close to high-end offices and bank headquarters, as well as being just across the road from the site of the Duty Free Mall, which has the only duty free operation on Hainan Island.

For meetings and events Sofitel Haikou will also offer a ballroom and eight multi function rooms as well as numerous restaurants and bars. And for relation and leisure the hotel will have a spa and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
