New GM For Langham, Yangtze Boutique Shanghai

Langham Hotels International has appointed Henk Meyknecht as the new managing director of the luxury operator's first boutique property in China –The Langham, Yangtze Boutique, Shanghai, which opened in May 2009.

His career spans over 25 years with assignments for SAS, Hilton International, Peninsula Group, and InterContinental Hotels in Europe, North America, and the Far East. Prior to joining The Langham, Yangtze Boutique, Shanghai, Meyknecht’s most recent position was area general manager for Marco Polo Hotels China, based in Beijing.
