InterContinental Foshan Opens In April 2010

The InterContinental Foshan is scheduled to open in April 2010 in the affluent Nanhai district of the Guang-Foshan Metropolis Region Guangdong Financial High-Tech Service Zone.

The hotel is a 10-minute drive from central Foshan, and an 18-minute drive from central Guangzhou, while the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (the home of the Canton Fair) is just a 28-minute drive away and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is about a 40-minute journey from the hotel.

For meetings and events, the hotel’s pillar-free grand ballroom can seat 630 people for a sit-down dinner or host 930 people for a cocktail reception. There are an additional six function rooms for smaller groups as well as a total of six restaurants and bars.

For rest and recreation the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, a 400-square-meter gymnasium, and outdoor tennis courts.
