East Lake And West Lake To Jointly Develop Tourism

Wuhan East Lake and Hangzhou West Lake, two of the most famous lakes in China, have joined together to cooperate in market development and creative industry.

According to the strategic agreement signed in Wuhan, the management departments of the two lakes will hold a strategic development seminar every two years; organize high-level exchange visits each year; establish tourism information sharing mechanisms, including setting up a "two lakes forum" website that regularly publishes information about East Lake and West Lake; and launch cooperation in scenic resource protection, landscaping, water quality control, and ship management.

West Lake is reported to have a large amount of management experience from which East Lake can learn. Both sides see great prospects for this cooperation.
