CITS Forms World Expo Union
The 58 travel agencies that form the China International Travel Service have formed the World Expo Union to ensure the high-quality travel service of World Expo tourism.
As one of the first appointed travel service providers for 2010 World Expo, the CITS 2010 Shanghai World Expo Union consists of 58 CITS board member companies including CITS Head Office. It covers all the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and will adopt business strategies such as centralized procurement, joint promotion, and unified marketing to form market competitiveness of professional product development and obvious price advantages.
Tong Wei, the president of CITS Head Office, commented that the union would strengthen the business cooperation relationship between CITS Head Office and local CITS companies, help improve domestic tourism business of the group and lay the foundation for the network marketing model. It is also an active attempt for domestic tourism business cooperation model between CITS Head Office and local CITS companies.
The union has introduced 60 routes covering the main tourist attractions of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui combining with other elements of tourism like dining, lodging, shopping and entertainment.
