First Five-star Hotel Opens In Beijing's Fengtai District

Beijing West International Trade Hotel has become the first five-star graded hotel in the Fengtai District of Beijing.

Beijing West International Trade Hotel is an investment of GoldCommon Group. It is located at the west of Fengyi Bridge near the Southwest Third Ring Road, with Beijing Lize Business District at its north, and Fengtai Science Park and Advanced Business Park at its south. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Lizeqiao and Liuliqiao Coach Stations, it is 15 minutes from Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station, and Beijing Nanyuan Airport in a 20-minute drive away.

The hotel boasts 234 guest rooms and suites, and the President Suite is said to be the largest in Beijing with a total area of 1,380 square meters. All rooms are equipped with broadband Internet access, a private safe, a private bathroom and an electronic key system. Different styles of restaurants provide Chaozhou, Hong Kong, French and Italian cuisines, and there is also a buffet. The 850-square-meter International Conference Hall, the multifunctional rooms, and several medium and small-sized meeting rooms, are all equipped with a simultaneous interpretation system and advanced audio-visual equipment. Hu Guoqiang, the deputy director of Fengtai Tourism Bureau, stated that with the improvement of service facilities and the entry of many hotels and dining enterprises into the district, Fengtai's reception capacity and image have been much improved. Now the district has 44 star-rated hotels, 600 social hotels, and several hotels such as Nangong Spring Season Hotel, The Maya Island, Hongkun International Hotel, and Jiangxi Grand Hotel that are now operating in accordance with five-star standards.
