Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan To Open In Spring 2010

The first luxury international five-star hotel in Yinchuan, Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan, is slated to open in May 2010; joining Kempinski's existing properties in Beijing, Shenyang, Dalian, Chengdu, Wuxi, Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Sanya.

The 409-room Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan is located close to the International Conference and Exhibition Center, Ningxia Museum, and People's Square. The hotel is designed to be a focal point for government and corporate accommodation, meetings, conferences, and entertainment and aims to be a preferred venue for hosting dignitaries to the city.

Various food and beverage outlets will offer local cuisine and German fare will be served in the hotel's signature Paulaner Brauhaus. Fresh bread and pastries will be sold by the hotel deli. For meetings and events the hotel boasts a range of meeting rooms from the 860-square-meter grand ballroom to a 70-square-meter conference room.

Yinchuan is the capital of the present-day Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and was the capital of the former Western Xia Dynasty of the Tanguts.
