Turkish Airlines Check-in At Shekou Ferry Terminal

Turkish Airlines has opened a new check-in counter at Shekou ferry terminal in Shenzhen to serves its passengers to traveling in and out of China via Hong Kong International Airport.

At approximately 40 minutes, Shekou terminal provides the shortest ferry ride from the Pearl River Delta to Hong Kong International Airport and the frequent daily schedule of the ferry is complimentary to the departure and arrival time of Turkish Airlines' flights between Hong Kong and Istanbul.

Under the Hong Kong government's new transit visa policy, transit passengers traveling by ferry to and from mainland via the Skypier at Hong Kong International Airport no longer require a transit visa and are exempt from Hong Kong Airport Passenger Departure Tax if their flights depart on the same day.

Passengers who plan to go en route to Shekou terminal after they arrive at Hong Kong International Airport from Istanbul can go directly to the Shekou ferry company transfer desk in E2 to purchase their ferry tickets and receive a luggage receipt by presenting their passport, boarding pass, and their luggage receipts from Turkish Airlines at the counter. Upon arrival at Shekou terminal, passengers can reclaim their luggage by showing the luggage receipts issued by the ferry company.
