German Rail Sets Up Sales Center In Beijing

Deutsche Bahn AG has set up its first sales center in China: in Beijing.

The sales center offers services that include local customer advisory and travel support, air ticket sales, and room booking. Chinese tourists will enjoy the same convenient ticket booking service at the sales center as at a ticket window in Germany. In addition, the sales center has developed several travel packages for business people, and can tailor a whole business travel plan according to the client's actual need.

The chairman of German National Tourist Office said he believed that China's outbound travel market has huge potential and the sales center will promote the development of frequent independent travel to Germany.
