China Sees 3.95 Million Overseas Tourists In First Half Of 2010
China saw overseas tourist arrivals increase to 3.95 million in the first half of this year, according to figures released by the Beijing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection.
The total number of outbound and inbound tourists exceeded eight million by the end of June 2010, representing a year-on-year growth of 30%.
The top four destinations for mainland Chinese tourists traveling abroad are the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, and Korea.
In 2009, 7.01 million overseas tourists visited China.
