Chengdu To Invest CNY4 Billion On Heritage Expo

The municipal government of Chengdu has decided to invest up to CNY4 billion to rebuild its intangible cultural heritage park.

The new park will be renamed International Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo and will reopen early in 2011.

In June 2011, the Third International Festival of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Chengdu will be held in the expo.

After completion, the number of visitors is expected to hit eight million a year.
