New GM And DOSM For Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre

Two top posts have been announced at Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre. Newman Wong has been appointed as the general manager of the hotel and he is joined by the newly appointed director of sales and marketing, Maria Ma.

Newman Wong — the new general manager of Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre — has worked in hotel industry for more than 20 years, in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Wong joined IHG in 2003 as resident manager at Holiday In Asia World Taipei, having previously worked for such international hotel groups such as Hyatt and Starwood. Before coming to Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre, he was the general manager of Holiday Inn Tianjin.

Hailing from Jinan, Maria Ma joined IHG in 2002 and has worked in IHG corporate offices as a revenue management and systems trainer. She has many years experience in sales and marketing and revenue management for IHG. Before joining Holiday Inn Qingdao City Centre, she was the DOSM of Crowne Plaza Jinan.
