InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the opening of the new Crowne Plaza Xiangfan — IHG's first Crowne Plaza Hotel in Xiangfan city, Hubei — on November 26, 2010.
The 302-room hotel is located at the center of the city's technology development zone, 30 minutes away from Xiangfan Liuji Airport, and eight minutes away from Xiangfan Railway Station.
Crowne Plaza Club has three floors of guestrooms, from the 20th floor to the 22nd floor with the Crowne Plaza Club Lounge located on the 21st floor. Club floor guests can enjoy benefits that include daily buffet breakfast; afternoon cocktails; complimentary drinks and coffee or tea; wireless Internet access; and free use of a meeting room.
Dining options at the hotel comprise a Chinese restaurant offering Cantonese cuisine; a Japanese restaurant serving dishes that include teppanyaki, sashimi, sushi, and tempura; and a cafe offing all-day dining. The restaurants are complimented by a lobby lounge serving freshly made pastries, various selections of wines, coffee specialties, and afternoon tea; and the Euro Bar that offers beverages, snacks, and live screening of televised sports.
