Hilton Worldwide has announced two management appointments at its newest hotel in China — the Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao.
Brice Pean, who has been appointed as general manager of the Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao, is of French origin and holds a degree in hotel and tourism from the Tourism College of Innsbruck, Austria. He has more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, spanning four continents and some of the world's most exclusive hotels. He has spent the past 11 years with the Hilton group and he joins from The Fiji Beach Resort and Spa managed by Hilton Worldwide, where he held the position of general manager.
Jeremy Artan de Saint Martin has been been appointed as director of business development of the hotel, where he will be responsible for marketing strategies, revenue management and business development. He joins Hilton Worldwide from Hyatt International Corporation, where he played a key role in the opening and the positioning of the Grand Hyatt Macau. He started his career in hospitality with the Accor Group in Shanghai.Artan is of Belgian origin and holds a degree in business administration from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausane, Switzerland.
