Qinghai Province Invests CNY4.28 Billion On Tourism

According to the Qinghai Tourism Bureau, the provincial government of Qinghai has invested CNY4.28 billion into tourism projects in the first three quarters of 2010.

Of the total investment, CNY95.69 million was invested in infrastructure and was mainly used to remodel the road an path network and in improving signage.

The bureau says that the province had speeded up the establishment of tourism projects and has improved the service levels and facilities at scenic spots. In addition, it has also developed new scenic spots and has introduced cultural tourism programs to boost the tourism sector in the province.
